The “null Ø” situation:
Some pronunciations do not contain an initial (e.g., ao, an, en)
“null” is always represented by the man who likely has the most fame in not only China but also the West, none other than the great Jackie Chan.
Because the pronunciation “er” is a unique Chinese pronunciation, it is represented by both a “null Ø” Initial & Final.
Thus, any “er” pronunciation is Jackie Chan in your childhood home.

HOW TO WRITE IT:
-Ø childhood home
Hallway/Lobby or Kitchen
(null)- Jackie Chan
乚 (NEW: Hook. Looks like a hook, doesn’t it?
Other suggestions: Captain Hook, something beginning with “L”)
Script 1: Jackie Chan is studying closely a large glowing hook that is suspended from the ceiling. Suddenly he says “Eureka!”, pulls out a Samurai Sword and slashes into the hook vertically, causing a mist to spurt out of the hook and upon breathing it in turning from his older self back into a young KID, wearing a child’s hat and holding a pinwheel.
Script 2: Jackie Chan takes his samurai sword and strikes Captain Hook. Although Hook defends himself, he changes into a KID, upon realizing this, he starts having a tantrum, having to be consoled by Chan.
PICK A PROP
PICK A PROP TO REPRESENT儿
When used as a prop in other characters, it will have the vivid image of human legs. Human legs are one of the choices because of how the character actually looks (and what it means), but if you wanted to choose a prop based on the meaning, you could choose a kid’s pinwheel hat, a big lollipop, or anything else you associate with a “Kid”.
